So-called "cheap art"

| | Comments (3)

The Affordable Art Fair hits NYC this weekend, starting on the 27th - uh, today. By "affordable" they mean under $10,000, I think - which is not affordable in my book. For photography, that's pretty steep.

Where/When:
Thursday, October 27 – Sunday, October 30
Pier 92 (52nd St. & 12th Ave.)

General Admission:
$12 (Seniors/Students $9; Children under 12 FREE)

Didn't "affordable" used to mean under $5,000?

Inflation is much worse than I thought.

To be fair, the prices start at $100, which IS affordable. I just wonder how much stuff is down in that price range.

I might be able to swing $100 but my experience with low end art fairs is that they are horrible.
