Alec Soth in NY Times Magazine
Heads up, Alec Soth shot the cover story for this Sunday's New York Times Magazine. You may want to grab a copy if it doesn't come to your door.

Alec Soth is also featured in the latest edition of Granta magazine ("The Factory"), with a photo essay. However, I can't recommend buying the magazine for the photos.
Since the photos aren't on the Granta Web site, I didn't think it was worth mentioning. Plus, last time I checked, Granta is journal-sized, a little too small to really appreciate Soth's stuff (or anyone else's, for that matter.)
No, you'll have to buy Granta (it's well worth the money; the articles are excellent). I will have to disagree about the size problem, though.
Hate to say it, but these photos are thoroughly BORING.
Someone more favorably inclined, such as myself, would describe them as "quiet" rather than boring. I found the cover image to be particularly striking, mixing together a sense of loneliness, loss, honor and reverence. Perhaps this highlihghts a personal preference rather than any trait of Soth's work, but I found the non-portraits worked best (page 33 and 37).
Todd- Thanks for the heads-up.
